Stan Store plans and prices
Stan sells two plans, Creator at $29 a month and Creator Pro at $99 a month, and neither takes a cut of your sales. Paying yearly brings them down to $300 and $948 a year, according to Stan's plan comparison.
Prices as of October 2026. Sources at the end of this page.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Yearly, per month | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | $29 | $300 | $25 | Mobile and desktop storefront, calendar and booking tools, unlimited course builder, recurring subscriptions, lead magnets, community, store and product analytics, Stan AutoDM for Instagram |
| Creator Pro | $99 | $948 | $79 | Everything in Creator, plus discount codes, limited-quantity offers, upsells and order bumps, funnels, payment plans with Afterpay and Klarna, affiliate management, contact import, email broadcasts and flows, and Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok pixels |
Paying yearly saves $48 on Creator ($348 billed monthly against $300) and $240 on Creator Pro ($1,188 against $948). There's no free plan, and Stan's affiliate-only accounts don't include a store. Either plan starts with a 14-day free trial. If you subscribe in Stan's iPhone app, Apple bills you monthly, because annual plans are only sold in a web browser.
Creator vs Creator Pro: what the extra $70 a month buys
Creator Pro is a marketing upgrade. Your storefront, products, courses and community work the same on both plans; Pro adds the tools that help you sell more of them.
According to Stan's help center, Creator Pro adds:
- Email marketing: broadcasts and automated flows with unlimited contacts. Manual imports are capped at 5,000 contacts per store, and at 10 during a Pro trial.
- Funnels, upsells and order bumps, so one checkout can sell several products.
- Discount codes and limited-quantity offers.
- Payment plans through Stan Payments, plus Afterpay and Klarna.
- Affiliate share, which lets customers resell your products for a commission you set.
- Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok pixels for ad tracking.
Creator Pro earns its $70 when it replaces tools you'd otherwise pay for separately, such as an email platform or a funnel builder. If those would cost you more than $70 a month on their own, Pro is the cheaper route.
Stick with Creator if you sell a few downloads or one membership, promote through organic posts and AutoDM (included on Creator) and don't run discounts or paid ads. At $1,000 a month in sales, Pro's $99 alone is almost 10% of revenue.
Stan Store transaction fees
Stan takes 0% of every sale on both plans. Per sale, you pay Stripe's or PayPal's processing fee, which Stan lists in its fee article (updated September 23, 2026).
Prices as of October 2026. Sources at the end of this page.
| Payment | Fee |
|---|---|
| US card (Stripe) | 2.9% + $0.30 |
| Buyer in another country | +1.5% |
| Currency conversion | +1% |
| Recurring payment (memberships and subscriptions) | +0.5% |
| Afterpay (Creator Pro only) | 6.0% + $0.30 |
| Klarna (Creator Pro only) | 5.99% + $0.30 |
| Standard card, UK-based creator | 1.5% + £0.20 |
| Standard card, Canada-based creator | 2.9% + C$0.30 |
| Standard card, Australia-based creator | 1.75% + A$0.30 |
| Standard card, New Zealand-based creator | 2.7% + NZ$0.30 |
| PayPal (your own PayPal Business account) | 3.49% + a fixed fee by currency |
| Chargeback, US-based creator | $15 per dispute |
Card payments need a new Stripe Custom account that Stan creates and manages for you. You can't connect an existing Stripe account, and you can't log in to this one at stripe.com; you see it through Stan's Settings → Payments page and the Income tab. When you refund a sale, Stripe keeps its processing fee.
Stan Store payout fees and cash-out timing
Stan has no automatic payouts. You cash out by hand from the Income tab, and Stripe charges 0.25% + $0.25 per payout, with a $1 minimum.
- US Stripe sales take 2 to 7 business days to become available, and creators outside the US wait up to 7. The first payout on a new Stripe account can take 3 to 7 extra business days while it's verified.
- Your available balance must be at least $10, and the money reaches your bank 24 to 48 hours after you cash out.
- Selling in a currency that differs from your Stripe account's currency adds 1% to each payout for US creators and 2% elsewhere.
- Stripe Instant Payouts are US-only and become available after 30 days and $2,000 in cash-outs, at Stripe's discretion.
- PayPal sales skip this process and land directly in your PayPal account.
Cashing out $10,000 a month in four weekly payouts costs about $26 in payout fees: 0.25% of $10,000 plus four $0.25 charges.
What Stan Store costs at $1,000, $10,000 and $50,000 a month
The plan fee dominates at low revenue and fades at high revenue. On a $50 monthly membership, Creator Pro costs 13.9% of $1,000 in sales but 4.2% of $50,000, while Whop stays at 3.8% because it has no plan fee.
Prices as of October 2026. Sources at the end of this page.
| Monthly sales | Members at $50/mo | Stan Creator ($29/mo) | Stan Creator Pro ($99/mo) | Whop ($0/mo) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | 20 | $69 (6.9%) | $139 (13.9%) | $38 (3.8%) |
| $10,000 | 200 | $429 (4.3%) | $499 (5.0%) | $380 (3.8%) |
| $50,000 | 1,000 | $2,029 (4.1%) | $2,099 (4.2%) | $1,900 (3.8%) |
Stan's cost is the plan price + 3.4% of sales (Stripe's 2.9% plus 0.5% on recurring payments) + $0.30 per payment. Whop's is 3.2% of sales (2.7% plus a 0.5% billing fee) + $0.30 per payment, as set out in our guide to Whop's fees. We assumed US cards, monthly billing, no add-ons and no payout fees. Paying Stan yearly takes $4 (Creator) or $20 (Creator Pro) off each Stan figure, and for one-time sales such as downloads, subtract 0.5% of sales from every column.
Whop also lists a $0.07 Radar fraud-screening fee per transaction, which our calculator leaves out. On this $50 membership it adds $1 to $70 a month and doesn't change the order. To try other prices or a mix of one-time and recurring sales, use the creator fee calculator; our Whop vs Stan Store breakdown shows where cheap, high-volume products tip the math toward Stan.
Hidden Stan Store costs to budget for
The plan and card fees aren't the whole bill. None of these costs appear on Stan's plan comparison, so budget for them separately:
- Payout fees of 0.25% + $0.25 per cash-out, covered above.
- International and currency fees: +1.5% when the buyer is abroad and +1% for currency conversion, and your whole store runs in a single currency.
- Refunds: Stripe keeps its fee, so a refunded $100 card sale still costs you $3.20.
- Chargebacks: $15 per dispute for US-based creators.
- Buy now, pay later: Afterpay at 6.0% + $0.30 costs roughly twice what a normal card payment does.
- Sales tax: Stan isn't the merchant of record. Stripe Tax can calculate tax at checkout for Stripe-connected creators in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway and the EU, but registering, filing and paying it are up to you.
Is Stan Store worth it?
Stan is worth it when its built-in marketing replaces tools you'd otherwise pay for, and when a simple setup matters more to you than the lowest fees.
It's worth the money if:
- Instagram drives your sales and you rely on AutoDM, which is included on both plans.
- You'd actually use Creator Pro's email, funnels and payment plans, which could otherwise mean several separate subscriptions.
- You want one page, one checkout and very little to configure.
It's probably not worth it if:
- You mainly sell a membership, course or community. You'd pay $29 to $99 a month for features a $0/mo platform such as Whop includes, plus 0.2% more per card sale.
- You need a custom domain, team logins or more than one currency, none of which Stan offers.
- You're on Creator Pro only for discount codes or order bumps.
If you're weighing other platforms, our ranked list of Stan Store alternatives compares seven options by what they cost at $1,000 and $10,000 a month. For context on pricing elsewhere, Kajabi's cheapest plan costs $179 a month billed monthly (Kajabi pricing explained), while Gumroad has no plan fee but takes 10% + $0.50 per sale plus processing (Gumroad's fees broken down).
How to cut your Stan Store bill
Three moves lower what you pay Stan:
- Switch to yearly billing, which saves $48 a year on Creator and $240 on Creator Pro.
- Drop to Creator if you don't use email, funnels, discount codes or pixels. That saves $70 a month.
- Move to a $0/mo platform. Our Stan Store to Whop migration guide covers moving products and members, and the free migration tool sets up your Whop. Your subscribers will need to enter their cards again, because Stan keeps them in its own Stripe account.

Frequently asked questions
Does Stan Store take a percentage of my sales?
No. Stan's own fee is 0% on both plans, so you pay only the monthly subscription. Card payments go through Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30 for US cards, plus 0.5% on recurring payments, 1.5% for buyers abroad and 1% for currency conversion. PayPal charges 3.49% plus a fixed fee, and Stripe takes 0.25% + $0.25 each time you cash out.
Is there a free version of Stan Store?
No. Stan has no free plan, and its affiliate-only accounts don't include a store. Creator ($29 a month) and Creator Pro ($99 a month) both start with a 14-day free trial. If you'd rather start at $0, Whop has no monthly fee, while Payhip, Systeme.io, Beacons and Linktree offer free plans that charge a percentage per sale instead.
How much is Stan Creator Pro per year?
Creator Pro costs $948 a year on annual billing, which works out to $79 a month. Paying monthly costs $99 a month, or $1,188 over a year, so the annual plan saves $240. Creator costs $300 a year ($25 a month) against $348 when paid monthly. Annual plans can only be bought in a web browser, not in Stan's iPhone app.
How long do Stan Store payouts take?
Expect a few business days plus a manual step. US Stripe sales take 2 to 7 business days to become available, and the first payout on a new Stripe account can take 3 to 7 extra days. You then press Cash Out in the Income tab, with a $10 minimum, and the money reaches your bank within 24 to 48 hours.
Why can't I log in to the Stripe account Stan created?
Because it's a Stripe Custom account that Stan manages, not a standard Stripe account. Stan doesn't let you connect an existing Stripe account, and Custom accounts have no stripe.com login. You update your details under Settings → Payments in Stan and track money in the Income tab. It also means your customers' saved cards can't follow you to another platform.
Does Stan Store collect sales tax for me?
Only partly. Stan isn't the merchant of record. If you take payments through Stripe and are based in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway or the EU, Stripe Tax can calculate and collect tax at checkout in the regions where you're registered. Registering, filing and paying the tax stay your job, and PayPal-only stores can't use the feature.
Can I subscribe to Stan Store in the iPhone app?
Yes. Stan's iOS app offers the same 14-day free trial on Creator or Creator Pro, billed through Apple. Annual plans aren't sold in the app, so subscribe in a web browser if you want the $300 or $948 yearly price. The creator app runs on iPhone and iPad only, and Stan doesn't offer an Android version.
